Easter Sunday 2011

It was a beautiful Sunday Easter morning.

Went to the Newmarket Community Church for Easter Sunday service. Everyone as they entered the church were given a daisy to put on the cross it was beautiful to see happen as the church filled for service.

For the 1st time in Tricia's life Easter Sunday fell on Tricia's birthday this year. It quite possibly may be the only time; it wont happen again until 2095.

Ice Freighters, New Barbecue, Lasagna

Spring is on it's way, Thursday or Friday it was about 70 and the river started melting. Tricia calls the floating ice coming down the river, ice freighters.

Went to Lowes Friday for some rubber washers and left having bought a new Barbecue. They delivered it Sunday morning

Labor intensive but well worth it. The other side effect is there is always enough for an army. Home made lasagna came out real good this time.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

It's St. Patrick's Day today; i did receive my "green" card from my dear friend Leslie "Saint George" Decker.

There's been a lot going on for us at this next of the woods. Tricia running back and forth to Indiana, Snow storms, We're getting our feet wet and sticking our toes into the political rink. And just trying to stay healthy.

This was an interesting night we attended a meeting of the Newmarket Republicans in the top floor of this old Stone Church.
It was freezing , No heat, very little light, it felt like we were back in history early 19th century. Here's a picture of Jack Kimball and Joe Barton.

Tricia and her sister flew back to Indiana and got their father Fremont into an assisted living apartment. Here's a picture of Fremont in his new apartment.

Tricia flew back but there was a storm and she had to spend the night in Detroit. Tricia got out the next day and she flew into Hartford Conniticut. I ran down there and picked her up in between snow storms.

Oh......this is pretty cool...... while Tricia was out of town i got my hands on a very early edition of Adam Smith's "Wealth of Nations", one of my many current reading projects

Last Friday was my last day at the linear accelerator i think this particular one they called Norvalis. This is a picture of my friends Connie and Holly. God Bless all of you guys .

Here's a picture of me and Holly.

That Night we celebrated and had dinner with Rick Santorum and friends at Three Chimney Inn.

Spring is trying to show it's head but the river's still frozen. There's a lot of melting going on. Took a long walk out to Moody Point and back.

Stop by La Festa for a Pizza and Glass of wine. Snapped this shot of Margaret who was one of our favorites waitresses and this was her last day . She is moving to Lido Keyo , Florida. Good Luck Margaret.

Des.............you rat!!! you went too. Tricia and i were thrilled when we learned you and Margaret were an item !!!
God Bless you both

Beautiful sunny day here today. Hope all is well with everyone.
