It's snowing a lot this morning; i'm supposed to volunteer at the Portsmouth Athenæum today. i'll wait a little to see if they are opened and if they are i'll need to figure out the public transportation.

Monday morning; 2/5/08
Went swimming this morning at the Swasey pool; then took luke out to the Heron Point sanctuary . It was kinda of slippery in the woods there was a lot of ice underneath the snow. i must of fallen about 5 times before i decided to turn back. luke thought it was a big game as i slid off the rocks and down into the river.

Beautiful Sunday here in New Hampshire. We went to church; then came home and got luke and headed to the shore.
After we got home i took luke down by the mills and found a new way across the river to a wild life sanctuary. Heron Point Sanctuary, i thought it was private property but discovered a sign that said it was donated to the city of Newmarket; kinda of cool. there were a bunch of teenagers playing paint ball in the woods but luke sounded ferocious and they were pretty respectful.
This was the 1st time i've seen the big falls stopped i could read the date of 1887.
i could never see it because of the falls somehow they had diverted the water to come out the side.
This is from across the river on the side of the sanctuary looking over into town.
