 After  the dentist Monday morning we ran over to the Wentworth for a light lunch.

Mid-Autumn Outings around New England

One of the many books i have going; this one makes me put it down and think before i can go on to the next page.

We drove up to LLBean in Freeport Maine.

Autumn in New England 2013

We've been running around Northern New England with lots of little errands and appointments.  i thought i'd update some photos for Tricia's family out west.

Here's Tricia at Robert's,  a nice seafood restaurant in Kittery Maine. It was a great sunset.

Another beautiful day, i planted about 100 daffodils down behind those trees in front of the condo.

Went down to Portsmouth and had lunch at the "Surf". This is looking out the window.

Back Home another beautiful morning.

Newmarket NH, Thomaston ME, and Peyton Place (aka Camden ME)

 There's a couple of turkeys been hanging around the front yard we'll see if they're still there at the end of next month.

The Town of Newmarket is looking at fixing or getting rid of the dam so they are drawing down the river to check it out. i'm also checking it out lots of sunken junk!!!

Went up to General Knox's place in Thomaston ME. That's a bell Paul Revere made for the General after the War of Independence.

We took a drive up to the lakes region yesterday and while we were there i got the idea to go visit Castle in the Clouds which is a mansion built in the 1910 by a Boston Shoe manufacturer tycoon.
It sits on top of one of the mountains that overlooks Lake Winnipesaukee.

Tricia likes this spot it's where the river comes into Lake Winnipesaukee; the water is very clear and  you can see fish and a very strong current.
