August 12, already !!!

Lots going on lately. Had our bathroom ceiling painted and all the rugs cleaned.
After putting everything back Tricia rearranged the dining room and kitchen area i kinda like what she did.



All we do is barbacue

Tricia and i went out to the Isle of Shoals which is a group of small islands about 9 miles off the coast of NH.
oh we went with Joe Donovan and Tom Bomba.

This is the bridge either going up or coming down as we were either leaving or coming in or out of Portsmouth.The Memorial Bridge is a through truss lift bridge that carries U.S. 1 across the Piscataqua River between Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Badger's Island in Kittery, Maine USA.


Here's a picture of downtown Portsmouth. the blue house in the middle of the picture is the The Moffatt-Ladd House it was the home of General William Whipple, one of New Hampshire's three signers of the Declaration of Independence and his wife Katharine Moffatt Whipple.



Fort Constitution. it's used as a Coast Guard facility now. Very interesting Revolutionary story with Paul Revere playing a part.

That building is where The Treaty of Portsmouth of 1905 was signed. It's still the Naval shipyard.

Here's the hotel at Star Island. it's mostly used for a religious and educational conference center with close ties to the Unitarian Universalist Association and the United Church of Christ.

July 2010; picnics, barbecues, swimming, and summer fun.

Here it is the last week in July and i need to update what we've got going on. Went to the Rockingham County GOP Picnic around the 17th. here's a coupe of photos of the candidates that i like.

July 13th; Good news

Here's a picture of Sandy M. Chin, M.D. and myself. Tuesday, We got a clean bill of health and we're very grateful, thankful, and elated because of her and her team for all that they have done for Tricia and i.

Today's a good day; July 12,2010

Been busy recovering and taking care of business and ourselves. Weather has been hot, warm and humid. Thank God for the river and River Ridge.

A flotilla of geese; last year we watched 2 small families of geese raise their young. this year it's almost 4 X bigger.

Our NJ friends gave us their barbecue we haven't cooked anything inside since we started using it. Thanks Bob and Bev !!!

Ron and Stan,two dear friends we meet over in Kittery Maine once and a while. There is a story here but a little too involved for this. Ron from Maine and Stan from Massachusetts

Whale spotted swimming up Lamprey then beaches self.
