Beautiful Fall Day, 10/20/2010

Tricia and i took some time off from family stuff. Tricia agreed to climb Mount Major.

What a trooper.

Tricia didn't start getting angry until she asked some guy how much further till the top. He told her you're almost half way.

Some views of Lake Winnipesaukee

Afterwards Tricia told me to take her to the Common Man Lake House Grill. Tricia and i were tired from the hike .
WOW . It was great . It's on Lake Winnipesaukee. It was spectacular and the food was awesome. It was a wonderful time we were both ravenous ,the sunset , the beer , we medicated Tricia with a sea breeze. One of the best times we have had in a long time.

The drive home late at night was good ; no one was on the road.

Biked to Adams Point, Canoed up River and received a piece of history from our dear friends Rich and Leslie.

This spot is where they built and launched one of the last gundalows to operate commercially in the area. The point is called Adam’s Point it's in Durham, NH.

This is looking north.

I'm in the canoe looking at out home headed north by northwest.

Here are some pictures of some of the wild life along the river front as i headed north.

A huge water rat

some turtles

He or she took off as soon as i took this picture and the take off was more impressive and i don't have a picture of it.

Leslie and Rich found us a 1957 Eisenhower and Nixon Inaugural Invitation. Haven't figured out where we will put it probably in the library but right now we have it in front of the fireplace. Thank you Rich and Leslie !!!
