the original Lady Justice

Here is a picture of the original Lady Justice that was on top of the town hall in 1855. She is actually in the basement of the Exeter historical society, now.

Mr. Lincoln at Exeter, NH

Drove over to hear Mr. Lincoln give a speech very similar to the Cooper Union speech. It was 150 years ago Thursday that Mr. Lincoln gave his speech at the town hall in Exeter NH.
This is the picture of the "Lady Justice " on top of the Exeter Town Hall.

Here is Mr. Lincoln giving that speech at the Exeter Town Hall. The room hasn't changed much since then but added a balcony.

The 2nd window in on the right and on the 2nd floor was Robert Todd Lincoln's boarding room when he went to Exeter Academy. One of the reasons Mr. Lincoln was visiting Exeter NH.

This is a picture of the Swamscott Hotel where MR Lincoln stayed when he was in town. Also there is an argument that this is where the Republican Party was founded.

Spring is on it's way

We had a pretty bad wind storm last thursday we lost power for a couple of days. Here's some pictures of the aftermath.

This was Amos Tuck's house.

This is a Daniel Chester French sculpture actually it's pretty much across the street from the Amos Tuck's house.

Was walking around UNH campus and came across this little farm and cemetery.

Manchester, Lee, Newmarket, and Hampton, NH

Driving over in Lee we ran into a little snow actually it turned into about 6-8 inches of snow.

This bull was all alone in the snow storm.

Tricia wanted this picture of me stuffin my face at Dave's famous Barbecue.

Me skating on the Lamprey behind the house.

Over in Hampton today we met some nice people running and walking their horses, Portia, Rio, and i can't remember the other 2 horses names(one sounded like a racing horse).
